Job Responsibilities :
- Ensure security measures in the plant to protect the unit’s assets and employees.
- Activating fire fighting equipment and making them available in emergency at short notice in fire prevention and control.
- Train security guards in emergency rescue operations.
- Knowledge of EOW system.
- Ensuring procedures like Night Vigilance Duty (NVD), CCTV, MIS etc.
- Accounts for proper attendance of security guards during shifts, maintaining discipline of security guards in shifts, ensuring maintenance and cleanliness of security barracks and coordinating with IR team in plant in case of emergency.
- Ensuring 100% compliance with all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their respective areas.
- Active participation in safety training, safety sub committee, standard champion meeting and any safety event
- Effective implementation of IMS and other system requirements by engaging in continuous improvement of plant working conditions and quality standards.
