Salary Details
- Pay Scale: Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300/- per month) under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) framework.
- Note: As per standard Punjab government rules, selected candidates will receive the fixed minimum basic pay (~₹29,200) during their initial 3-year probation period before regular allowances are factored in.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational & Technical Qualifications:
- Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics from a recognized Board or University.
- Must possess a 2-year Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology (or equivalent qualification) from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory Language Condition: Candidates must have studied and passed Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject at the Matriculation (Class 10th) level or its equivalent.
- Age Limit (As of January 1, 2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 37 Years for General Category.
- Upper age relaxation applies strictly as per Punjab State rules: up to 42 years for SC/BC of Punjab, 45 years for State/Central Govt employees, and 47 years for PwD candidates.

Selection Process
- Written Examination (OMR-Based MCQs): A objective test divided into two specific modules:
- Part A: Punjabi Language Test (Matric level). This is qualifying in nature and requires a minimum of 50% marks; it features no negative marking.
- Part B: Subject Matter & General Knowledge Evaluation. This part determines your ranking on the absolute merit list.
- Counselling & Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to verify their original educational credentials and category certificates.
- Medical Fitness & Board Allotment.
