The bilingual exam (English/Hindi) spans a duration of 1 to 3 hours, depending on the trade.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Purely qualifying in nature. Candidates must clear a 1.6 Km (1 Mile) run within a strict 10-minute boundary. Physical Standards Testing (PST) will also measure height, weight, and chest expansion against territorial military parameters.
- Practical / Trade Skill Test: Conducted for skilled roles (such as typing speed validations or handling machinery tools/wiring components) to check hands-on field competence. This test is qualifying in nature.
- Medical Evaluation & Induction: Final shortlisting is subject to clearing a comprehensive Primary Medical Examination (PME) and the mandatory verification of original academic/technical marksheets.
